Meet Tamara, M. E.d
Owner, Special Educator, IEP Specialist,
Educational Advocate & Consultant
Tamara believes that every student has an innate desire to learn and has the right to a safe, inclusive learning environment to express themselves as human beings and students. Working together as a collaborative community, self advocates, families and educators can create inclusive, equitable solutions for personalized learning experiences for all students.
Tamara received her Masters of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in behavioral science from Colorado Christian University.
Prior to establishing CEAC, Tamara worked in public education with elementary, middle school, and high school age students as a special educator. Tamara has experience working with students in many different types of Special Education programs. She has working knowledge with students who experience developmental disabilities, specific learning disabilities, ADHD, language impairments, behavioral concerns, serious emotional disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder. Tamara has also had experience working with students considered “at-risk” and trauma-informed care.
